FICTION IN ACTION
Friction is present everywhere in or life.
It occurs when two surfaces are in contact.

There are examples of the friction:
vFlick a coin across the table
vWhen the brakes of a car are applied
vWhen we hold a pencil
Friction is a force that opposes motion.
It makes moving objects move slower and finally stop.

Different types of surfaces in contact have different amount of friction.
However it is easier to pull our school bag on a smooth surface than on a rough surface.

Friction produces heat.
